Sesc understands that culture is a relevant tool for the transformation of the individual and society. We encourage artistic production and dissemination, acting as a link between producers and those interested in cultural goods, through artistic presentations such as shows and performances, artistic and cultural development such as courses, workshops and debates. In addition, we have libraries with access to updated collections.
We have an infrastructure for dance, music, visual arts, crafts, cinema, literature, opera, photography and circus. This includes specialized spaces such as a network of theaters, cinemas, art galleries, a museum of sacred art, a recording studio, and rooms located in Sesc units in the Metropolitan Region and the interior of the State.
Sesc uses sports as an important vehicle for raising awareness about citizenship and social inclusion. A range of activities, such as sports courses in various modalities, games, tournaments, and championships, encourage camaraderie, cooperation, self-improvement, and self-control, contributing to individual development. Sesc's Executive Units throughout the state offer excellent infrastructure and sports equipment for practicing various modalities such as swimming, water aerobics, weight training, gymnastics, volleyball, futsal, judo, and beach soccer.
Sesc Pernambuco provides a wide variety of recreational activities, stimulating reflection and physical development, aiming at solidarity, participation, and sociocultural integration for its clientele.
With systematic programs that encourage social inclusion and the exercise of citizenship, Sesc offers sports courses in various modalities, such as swimming, water aerobics, weight training, gymnastics, volleyball, futsal, judo, and beach soccer, in addition to holiday camps for children and the elderly. The organization has a structure with water parks, soccer fields, beach soccer and multi-sports courts, an official soccer stadium, party halls, among others.
